Buckhurst Plant Hire Sponsoring The Irish Festival Village

Buckhurst Plant Hire is delighted to announce our sponsorship of the Irish Festival Village, also known as The Tent, as part of the Manchester Irish Festival 2025.

Established in 1997, Buckhurst Plant Hire is a family-run business with strong roots in the Irish community. The Walsh family, who founded and continue to run the company, have Irish heritage, making this sponsorship particularly meaningful. Supporting the Irish Festival Village is not only an opportunity to celebrate the cultural connections between Ireland and Manchester but also a way to give back to the local community that has played such an important role in our journey.

Taking place from 7th - 17th March 2025 in St. Ann’s Square, Manchester, the Irish Festival Village will be at the heart of the city’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

The event will feature:

  • Live music
  • Live screenings of Six Nations Rugby
  • Community performances
  • Irish-themed food and products
  • Lively atmosphere
