Buckhurst Team Supports The Raft Foundation With Christmas Donations

This December, the Buckhurst Group team at Rossendale came together to support their local community during what can be a difficult time of year for many families.

The team gathered an impressive collection of donations for The Raft Foundation, a local charity that provides food and vital support to individuals and families in need. Thanks to everyone's wonderful generosity, we collected eight large bags and two trays filled with non-perishable food, household essentials and Christmas treats.

It’s safe to say the Rossendale team went above and beyond. Their contribution is a reflection of the strong teamwork and community spirit that runs through the Buckhurst Group, which we're extremely proud of.

A couple of the staff at Buckhurst Plant Hire delivered the donations directly to The Raft Foundation. They met with Helen, one of the charity’s volunteer co-ordinators, who spoke about their ongoing work within the local community and the impact these contributions make, particularly during the Christmas period.

We’re incredibly proud of the Group for coming together for such a meaningful cause. Supporting our communities, whether that be through charity, sponsorship or local initiatives, is just one of the many ways Buckhurst strives to give back.
