Buckhurst's New SANY SY155U Excavators

At Buckhurst Plant Hire, we're excited to welcome two brand new SANY SY155U excavators to our Wellingborough depot. These machines are primed and ready to support customer projects across the UK and they’ve already had their moment in the spotlight at our local Northamptonshire depot.

Built to Deliver in Tight Spaces

The SANY SY155U is a compact, short-tail-swing excavator, which means it’s ideal for working in tight or urban areas, where space is limited. Despite its compact size, it doesn’t compromise on power.

• Its engine produces 78.5 kW, ensuring the SY155U gives you the muscle to get the job done efficiently. 

• Operating weight is around 16,170 kg.

It can reach down to approximately 6,020 mm, giving you serious digging capability

Strengthening Our Fleet for Local Demand

Bringing these two SY155Us into our Wellingborough depot means we can continue responding quickly to growing demand in the area. The machines are ready to head straight out to customer sites and support a wide range of projects, including construction, utilities, groundwork and infrastructure.

They’re reliable, capable and built for everyday site work. And after their quick depot photoshoot, they’re now out on the fleet and available for hire.
