Meet the Team - Courtney

In this instalment of our Meet the Team series, we’re excited to introduce Courtney, who joined our Wellingborough depot four months ago and has already become a valued part of the team.

As our Hire Desk Controller at the depot, Courtney plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring customers receive the high‑quality service Buckhurst is known for.

1. What’s one fun fact your colleagues might not know about you?
I am trying to go to all 50 states in America before I am no longer able to, I have almost done 8 so far! 🗽
2. What’s your favourite way to start the day?
I enjoy starting my day with a little swim at the gym, always motivates me for the day ahead! 🏊
3. If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be?
Play the piano 🎹
4. What’s your go‑to brew order? ☕🍵
Banana bread latte, a lovely sweet treat!
 
🏗️ Your Role at Buckhurst
5. What does a typical day look like in your role?
Organising the machines for hire and sorting the drivers deliveries for the next day, dealing with customers and helping to solve any issues they have promptly.
6. What do you enjoy most about working at Buckhurst?
Providing a good service to our customers is incredibly important to me.
7. What achievement are you most proud of in your role so far?
Solidifying my position within the Wellingborough team and building good relationships with my coworkers.
8. What’s one thing you think customers would be surprised to learn about your job? No two days are the same!
9. What's your biggest motivation? I am motivated by the opportunity to learn new skills and expand my knowledge.
10. If you could swap roles with someone in the business for a day, who would it be and why?
One of the plant fitters to see how complex the machines are and figure out how to prep them for hire!
